- Metal Lever Height Adjustment Allows Repeatable Conductor Positioning

The K&M 12331 conductor stand base is designed for orchestral performance environments where a reliable, height-adjustable platform is essential. Music directors, pit conductors, and ensemble leaders working in concert halls, theaters, and rehearsal spaces will find this tripod base a practical foundation for pairing with compatible conductor desks.
The folding tripod construction with tube legs and cross braces delivers the stability required when a conductor desk holds full scores under live performance conditions. Height adjusts in 40 mm increments across an 850 to 1370 mm range using a metal lever, giving conductors repeatable positioning without tools. The two-piece folding rod design compresses into a compact form that travels easily between venues or stores backstage without taking up significant space.
Built from steel with a screw connection for attaching conductor desk plates, this base is suited for integration with K&M conductor desks including the 12332 and 12333 models. For pit orchestras, touring productions, or fixed rehearsal rooms, the 12331 offers a purpose-built solution over general-purpose music stands that lack the height range or deck-mounting geometry required for conductor use.
