The K&M 13460 is a fully adjustable bass stool built for working musicians who need reliable, comfortable seating through long rehearsals, studio sessions, and live performances. The pneumatically adjustable seat climbs across a wide range, accommodating players of varying heights without tools or interruption between sets. Both the seat and backrest adjust independently in height and inclination, allowing each player to dial in proper posture and reduce fatigue over extended playing time.
The upholstered seat and backrest are constructed from Trevira CS fabric, a material that is inherently fire-resistant rather than treated after the fact. This distinction matters in installed and touring environments where venue compliance and rider requirements demand certified materials. The black fabric carries a durability rating of 100,000 abrasion resistance cycles, making it a practical long-term investment for venues, rental houses, and production companies that cycle gear through heavy use.
The 5-leg steel base provides a stable footprint on stage and studio floors alike. A continuously adjustable one-third circle footrest accommodates different leg lengths, while leg recesses and quiet, slip-resistant feet prevent unwanted movement and protect finished floors. For integrators outfitting green rooms, studio booths, or orchestra pits, the 13460 delivers professional-grade comfort and compliance in a single purpose-built package.
