- Broad Seat Compatibility Allows Retrofit Onto Existing Drum Thrones And Stools
The K&M 14032 backrest is designed for drummers who need long-session support without replacing their existing throne or stool. Its oval cushion is upholstered in durable imitation leather and mounts to a steel frame that accommodates a wide range of drum seats, making it a practical retrofit for rehearsal studios, touring rigs, and installed stage environments alike.
Height and depth positioning are both adjustable via knurled screws, allowing each player to dial in a support angle that suits their posture and kit setup. This tool-free adjustability makes the 14032 useful in shared backline situations where multiple drummers rotate through the same seat. The steel construction keeps the unit stable under dynamic playing conditions without adding excessive bulk to the setup.
For production companies managing backline inventory, drum techs outfitting tour rigs, or studio facilities looking to improve player comfort, the 14032 offers a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a complete new throne. Its broad compatibility with existing seats means it integrates into current setups rather than requiring a full swap.
