The K&M 14033 is a purpose-built backrest attachment designed for drummers who need reliable lumbar support during extended sessions. Compatible with a range of drummer seats and stools, it addresses one of the most common complaints in live and studio performance: fatigue caused by unsupported sitting posture over long sets or recording blocks.
The oval cushion is upholstered in wear-resistant fabric and secured to a steel frame that mounts to the seat post. Both height and depth are independently adjustable using knurled screws, allowing each player to dial in a fit without tools. For touring drummers, session players, and installed practice rooms where multiple players share a kit, that adjustability reduces setup time and accommodates different body types without compromise.
Where generic aftermarket backrests often rely on friction-fit clamps that shift under use, the K&M 14033 uses a steel construction with knurled screw adjustment for a stable hold through the full session. It is a focused, well-built addition for any drummer prioritizing comfort and endurance at the kit.
