The K&M 15530 is a compact, height-adjustable aluminum violin stand built for gigging musicians, music educators, and orchestral players who need a reliable, portable solution for resting their instrument between pieces or during rehearsals. The fully adjustable instrument support arms accommodate a range of violin sizes, and their soft non-marring plastic lining prevents scratches or finish damage on fine instruments.
A non-slip clamping lever makes height adjustment quick and secure without tools, while the yoke includes a safety strap to hold the instrument firmly in place. The integrated bow holder adds practical convenience, keeping the bow accessible without setting it down. When the session ends, the stand folds to a compact footprint and stows in the included nylon bag, making it a natural fit for pit orchestras, touring musicians, and lesson studios where space and pack-out time matter.
Constructed from aluminum, the 15530 delivers the rigidity needed to hold an instrument safely without adding unnecessary bulk to a gear kit. Compared to heavier steel alternatives or basic peg-style stands, this stand balances structural integrity with genuine portability, a combination that working violinists consistently prioritize.
