The K&M 17650 Carlos is a purpose-built guitar stand for working musicians who need reliable instrument support without excess bulk. Its tall A-frame profile accommodates both acoustic and electric guitars, making it a single-stand solution for players who switch between instruments during rehearsal or live performance. The one-piece plastic construction keeps the unit lightweight while maintaining the structural rigidity needed to hold instruments securely night after night.

The integrated neck security lock holds the guitar in place and reduces the risk of tip-over in busy backstage or studio environments where floor space is crowded and accidental contact is a real concern. Soft felt pads on the support arms protect guitar bodies from contact marks and finish damage, which matters for players touring with high-value instruments or collectors storing guitars on display. When the set is done, the stand folds completely flat for efficient packing into a gig bag or road case without adding meaningful bulk to a load-in.

For live sound engineers setting up backline, studio coordinators managing session instruments, or guitarists working smaller venues without dedicated guitar techs, the Carlos delivers a stable, protective, and compact solution that earns its place in the bag on every gig.
