The K&M 20150 is engineered for engineers and integrators who need to position microphones or antennas at heights conventional stands cannot reach. With a stepless height range of 1,190mm to 3,220mm, it serves overhead recording setups, room mic placements in large acoustic spaces, broadcast delay antenna positioning, and any application where a standard-height stand simply falls short.
Where competing XL stands often sacrifice rigidity for reach, the 20150 uses an all-steel 3-piece folding rod design and a clutch and clamping element with a locking screw for secure, repeatable positioning at any point in its range. The large 850mm diameter base footprint provides the ground contact area needed to keep an elevated stand stable on stage, in a studio, or during a location shoot without the need for additional ballasting or outriggers.
Topline quality designation reflects K&M's highest standard for materials and finish. The foldable leg construction collapses to 1,120mm for manageable transport and storage, making this a practical choice for production teams and rental houses that need a capable extra-tall stand that also packs down efficiently between uses.
