The K&M 210/6 Microphone Stand is a modern update of the classic 210/2 design, built for working engineers and performers who need a reliable, road-worthy boom stand. The steel construction and zinc die-cast base deliver the structural integrity required for nightly use in live sound environments, studio sessions, broadcast setups, and installed AV applications. The tripod base with long foldable legs provides a stable footprint while keeping the stand compact for transport and storage.
Height adjustment is handled by a clutch mechanism, giving operators smooth and repeatable positioning without the play or slippage common in cheaper alternatives. The one-piece boom arm and wing nut clamping system keep the workflow fast during load-in and teardown. The 2-piece folding rod combination reduces packed length, making the 210/6 practical for touring rigs and venue backline that demands efficiency in tight cases or rolling racks. Available in black or gray finishes to match stage aesthetics or blend into installed environments.
The 210/6 series sits in K&M's upper product tiers, designed to outlast budget alternatives through better materials and tighter tolerances. For engineers who set up multiple stands per show or per install, the consistent clutch feel and stable base translate directly into faster, more confident mic placement.
