The K&M 21334 Distance Rod is designed for AV integrators and live sound engineers who need a reliable, rigid connection between tripod speaker stands and satellite speaker systems. Built from steel with a 35 mm diameter tube and an M20 threaded bolt at the end, the rod delivers a precise vertical fit that keeps cabinets stable and correctly aligned during live events, installed audio deployments, and portable PA setups.
Where plastic or composite alternatives introduce flex or play into the speaker-to-stand connection, the all-steel construction of the 21334 series holds its position under load, supporting up to 35 kg per rod. The M20 thread is a widely adopted standard across touring and installed satellite speaker systems, making these rods broadly compatible with K&M stands and other compliant enclosures. The series is offered in two lengths to accommodate different mounting heights and speaker cabinet depths, giving engineers the flexibility to dial in the correct positioning for their specific rig without improvised hardware.
These rods suit portable PA applications, rental inventory, and fixed installs where a clean, load-rated vertical connection between stand and speaker is required. The black finish integrates neatly into stage and installation environments without drawing attention away from the system.
