The K&M 21420 is a lightweight aluminum tripod stand built for engineers and performers who need reliable monitor or speaker placement without the bulk of a steel stand. With a maximum load capacity of 12 kg, it suits compact full-range speakers, studio monitors, and small PA cabinets used in rehearsal rooms, houses of worship, corporate AV installs, and small venue live sound.
Height adjusts continuously from 1,265 mm to 2,105 mm via a clamping element with a non-scratching locking screw, protecting speaker enclosure finishes during positioning. The 2-piece folding design collapses to 1,060 mm for transport and fits neatly into road cases or cargo. Tube legs with cross braces and a 1,200 mm base diameter provide a stable footprint on stage or in installed environments where floor space is limited.
The 25 mm extension tube diameter is compatible with K&M's optional flange adapter 19665, expanding mounting options for pole-mount-capable enclosures. An optional carrying case 21422 is also available, making this stand a practical choice for any production team that moves gear frequently and demands a low-profile setup solution.
