The K&M 21450 is a portable aluminum tripod speaker stand built for engineers and production crews who need reliable, road-ready support without the weight penalty of steel alternatives. The aluminum tube construction keeps carry weight low, while fiberglass-reinforced fittings at critical stress points maintain structural integrity under repeated load-in and load-out cycles. A dual-stage safety system combining a clamping lever and a dedicated safety pin means the stand holds its set height even under vibration-heavy stage environments, a level of mechanical redundancy that distinguishes this model from budget stands that rely on a single locking mechanism.
Height adjustment spans a practical range accessible by a single clamping lever operation, requiring no tools and no secondary hardware. Tube legs with cross braces spread load across the floor contact points for stable footing on uneven stage surfaces. The 2-piece folding rod design reduces packed length for transport in SUVs, cargo vans, and overhead production storage. A 35 mm tube end diameter and an included adapter sleeve cover compatibility with the majority of current passive and powered cabinet mounting cups, making this stand a functional fit across installed and portable applications where a consistent, professional-grade solution is required.
