The K&M 23150 Tabletop Microphone Stand is built for engineers and performers who need a reliable, compact mic stand for desktop, podium, and stage applications. Its telescopic center column allows height to be dialed in without tools, making it practical for broadcast setups, podcasting, conference rooms, and live stage use where quick positioning is required between sessions or sets.
The folding tripod base with square tube legs snaps firmly into position for a stable footing on tables and flat surfaces, then collapses to a compact footprint for transport or storage. The steel construction keeps the stand solid under consistent use without adding bulk to a kit. This is a working stand designed for mobile operation, not a permanent install fixture, making it a practical choice for touring engineers, rental inventory, and installers who need hardware that travels well and sets up fast.
Unlike fixed-height tabletop stands, the infinitely variable height adjustment gives users real flexibility to position capsules precisely for vocalists, instruments, or conference mics. The ergonomic clamping lever design handles repeated adjustments without wear-related slop, which matters in rental and production environments where stands cycle through many users. The 23150 is offered in both 1/4" and 5/8" thread sizes to match the full range of microphone hardware already in a facility or touring rig.
