The K&M 23300 is a combination floor and table microphone stand designed for engineers and performers who need a single versatile stand that transitions between desktop and floor placement without swapping hardware. Its heavy black cast-iron base provides a low center of gravity that resists tipping on both flat surfaces and uneven stage environments, making it a practical choice for broadcast desks, recording studios, podcasting setups, and small-venue live sound.
The integrated anti-vibration rubber insert in the base decouples the stand from surface-transmitted noise, a meaningful advantage in live settings where foot traffic and floor resonance would otherwise color a sensitive condenser or dynamic microphone. Height is managed through a clutch adjustment mechanism on the two-piece steel tubing, allowing quick repositioning without tools. The 3/8" threaded connector accepts a wide range of microphone clips and adapters, keeping the stand compatible across common studio and live inventory.
For production teams outfitting a green room, broadcast booth, or podium, the 23300 delivers a compact footprint with the build quality K&M is known for in professional installed and touring applications. The all-black finish integrates cleanly into camera-visible environments where aesthetics matter alongside function.
