K&M 23400 Adjustable Table Floor Mic Stand | Black

The K&M 23400 is a low-profile table and floor microphone stand built for applications where a full-height stand creates clearance problems or visual obstruction. Drum miking is a primary use case: the rectangular cast-iron base resists tipping under vibration, and the tilt angle adjustment lets engineers aim the capsule precisely at a snare, tom, or kick without repositioning the stand itself. Studio tabletop placement is equally well served, with the compact footprint keeping the stand out of the way on crowded console bridges or instrument amps.

The 2-piece adjustable extension tubing and non-marring height-adjustment mechanism protect finished studio furniture and stage risers from contact damage, a practical consideration in installed broadcast and recording environments where surfaces are expensive. The adjustable height range accommodates a variety of source positions without requiring an additional boom arm, reducing clutter on tight stages and in tracking rooms. For engineers and production teams looking for a dependable low-profile stand that handles the physical demands of repeated setups, the 23400 delivers a stable, professional-grade platform in a compact form factor.
