- One-Piece Steel Construction Eliminates Loose Parts During Setup And Teardown
- Threads Directly Onto Standard 3/8" Mic Stand Tops For Instant Dual-Position Use
- Adjustable Hole Spacing Accommodates Different Mic And Boom Arm Configurations
- Knurled Locking Screws Secure Accessories Without Tools
The K&M 23550 microphone bar is designed for live sound engineers, studio session workers, and broadcast technicians who need to double up mic positions without adding another stand to the floor. By threading directly onto the top of any standard mic stand with a 3/8" connection, it converts a single stand into a two-position mounting solution for microphones or boom arms.
The bar features two knurled locking screws that hold accessories firmly in place without requiring tools, and hole spacing adjusts across a range that accommodates different mic or boom arm configurations. The one-piece steel construction means there are no separate parts to misplace during setup or teardown, which matters when you are working a fast turnaround in a live production or broadcast environment.
Compared to single-thread mic stand toppers or stackable adapters, this bar offers a cleaner, more stable platform for close-spaced dual-mic techniques, choir recording, or multi-source instrument capture. The compact form factor keeps the overall rig low-profile and the black finish suits most stage and studio environments.
