The K&M 23765 microphone fishing pole is a professional-grade boom designed for engineers and operators who need a lightweight, manageable pole for broadcast, film, ENG, and live production capture. Built from aluminum tubing in a 4-piece folding configuration, it packs down for transport and deploys quickly without sacrificing rigidity or control during a session or shoot.
The adjustable length range covers demanding boom positions from tight interiors to wide stage or set placements. The clamping levers feature an innovative locking system that holds any chosen position firmly under load, giving operators confidence when extended at full reach. Internal cable routing keeps mic cables managed and out of the way, reducing handling noise and tangling on set. A carrying case is included, making the pole ready for bag-based workflows right out of the box.
For production teams evaluating boom pole options, the K&M 23765 delivers the combination of material quality, cable management, and locking reliability that separates professional tools from budget alternatives. The 3/8-inch threaded connector ensures broad compatibility with standard boom microphone mounts and shock mounts used across broadcast and location sound workflows.
