Designed for broadcast studios, voice-over booths, podcasting setups, and multimedia workstations, the K&M Aluminum Microphone Desk Arm gives engineers and presenters a clean, fast way to position microphones without floor stands cluttering the workspace. The arm's innovative table clamp secures to a wide range of desk thicknesses and allows rapid repositioning mid-session, making it a practical upgrade over conventional threaded desk stands that require tool adjustments.
Constructed from aluminum and steel, the arm delivers the structural rigidity needed to hold microphones weighing up to 1.5 kg without creep or unintended movement over time. The telescoping reach adjusts across a broad range to accommodate different seating positions and room layouts. Both 3/8" and 5/8" threaded connectors are supported natively, so the arm accepts virtually any microphone clip or shock mount without an adapter. Models are available with or without an internally routed cable, giving integrators and users the flexibility to match their preferred signal routing approach.
Where plastic-bodied arms introduce flex and cheap clamps mark up desk surfaces, the K&M desk arm's metal construction holds its set position under repeated use. Four cable clips are included across the product family to keep cable runs tidy on the arm itself. For professional studios, broadcast facilities, and corporate AV installations where a clean, repeatable microphone position is non-negotiable, this arm delivers reliable performance without the bulk of a full-size floor stand.
