The K&M 23880 laptop rest gives live sound engineers, broadcast operators, and installed AV technicians a practical way to position a laptop at the mix position without a separate stand. Designed to pair with VESA 75x75 and 100x100 monitor mount connectors, it integrates into existing rigging rather than adding floor clutter, which matters in dense front-of-house environments and equipment rooms where space is at a premium.
The tray is fabricated from steel, providing the rigidity needed to hold a laptop securely through a full production day. A rated load capacity of 8 kg means it handles full-size professional laptops and audio interfaces sitting on top without flex or sag. All mounting hardware ships with the tray, so there is no separate hardware order before deployment. For AV integrators specifying monitor mount systems, the VESA compatibility makes this a straightforward addition to any arm or wall-plate solution already in the design.
