The K&M 23900 Quick-Release Adapter is built for engineers, performers, and studio technicians who need to change microphones or accessories rapidly without interrupting a session or a live set. A single press of the grey button unlocks the threaded bolt, allowing the user to remove or replace whatever is mounted without reaching for tools or fumbling with threads under pressure. This level of speed is especially valuable during live productions where downtime between sets is minimal and multiple mic configurations must share the same stand.
The anti-twist hexagonal geometry keeps the adapter properly oriented on the stand, eliminating mic drift that can compromise positioning between takes or songs. The adapter accepts standard 5/8 inch female threading with a 3/8 inch thread adapter included, making it compatible with virtually any stand or accessory in a professional inventory. A second threaded bolt ships with every unit, giving technicians a ready spare in case of field damage or loss. The aluminum construction keeps weight minimal while maintaining the structural integrity needed for consistent daily use in installed, touring, or broadcast environments.
