- Aluminum Construction Keeps The Adapter Lightweight For Portable Applications
- 3/8" Female Thread Interfaces With Standard Microphone And Lighting Hardware
- Compact Profile Adds Minimal Height To Existing Stand Setups
- Converts Mic Stands To Lighting Positions Without Dedicated Hardware
The K&M 24517.300.00 is a compact aluminum mini TV spigot designed for production professionals who need to repurpose existing microphone stands as lighting positions on stage, on set, or in installed AV environments. Its 16 mm barrel diameter and 3/8" female thread interface with standard stand hardware, making it a straightforward solution for mixed-use rigging without the cost of dedicated lighting stands.
For touring productions, broadcast shoots, and live events where stand count and load-in speed matter, this adapter eliminates redundant gear by letting mic stands pull double duty as light positions. The machined aluminum construction keeps the assembly lightweight while maintaining a reliable mechanical connection. At under 30 mm in length, it adds negligible height to any stand configuration and stows easily in a cable bag or accessory pouch between uses.
