- Infinitely Variable Length Adjustment Corrects Uneven Floors Without Stand Repositioning
- Clamp-Mount Design Installs Once And Stays Fixed To The Stand Leg
- Covers Surface Deviations On Stairs, Steps, And Sloped Terrain
- Steel Construction Maintains Rigidity Under Loaded Speaker Stand Conditions
- Works In Default Position On Even Surfaces Without Affecting Normal Operation
Live sound engineers and touring production crews dealing with uneven stage surfaces, outdoor terrain, steps, or sloped floors need a fast, reliable fix that does not compromise speaker positioning. The K&M 24738 leveling leg attaches to one leg of the Wind-Up Stand 3000 with a clamp, requiring only a single installation. From that point forward, the adjustable leg handles surface corrections without removing or repositioning the stand.
On even surfaces, the leveling leg stays in its default position and does not interfere with normal stand operation. When a correction is needed, the infinitely variable length adjustment accommodates deviations up to 200mm, covering most real-world stage and install scenarios. Steel construction keeps the assembly rigid under load, and the clamping design ensures the adapter stays locked once set. For touring engineers who move rigs between venues with unpredictable floors, this is a practical and repeatable solution that does not add significant setup time to the workflow.
