The K&M 25800.521.55 is a table-mounted microphone clamp stand designed for engineers and production teams who need reliable mic placement without a floor stand footprint. Its rotating clamp mechanism attaches directly to desktops, podiums, rack rails, or round tubes, making it a practical solution for broadcast studios, podcast setups, conference rooms, and live production environments where floor space is at a premium.
The clamping system accommodates a wide range of surface thicknesses, and the adjustable height gives operators meaningful flexibility during a session without requiring additional hardware. The 360-degree swivel allows the mic to be repositioned precisely for different source angles, which matters in multi-presenter or interview setups. A steel chassis with quality plastic inserts provides the structural integrity needed for daily professional use, avoiding the flex and drift common in lightweight consumer alternatives.
For setups requiring additional reach, the stand accepts a supplementary extension tube, extending its usefulness across a broader range of mounting scenarios. The standard 3/8-inch threaded connector ensures compatibility with most professional microphone mounts and adapters already in a production kit.
