The K&M 25900 is a short-profile tripod boom microphone stand engineered for applications where a full-height stand would be impractical or in the way. Live sound engineers reach for it when micing guitar cabinets close to the floor, positioning microphones at floor monitors, or getting into tight spots around a drum kit. Its telescopic boom arm and clutch-style height adjustment let technicians dial in precise positioning quickly during setup without tools.
Constructed from steel with a foldable tripod leg design and a zinc die-cast base, the 25900 is built to hold its position under working conditions on stage and in the studio. The two-piece telescopic boom arm extends the mic placement range considerably beyond what a straight stand could achieve in confined spaces. A T-bar locking screw secures the boom angle once set. The stand ships in a compact folded footprint, making it practical for packed stage cases and touring rigs where space is at a premium.
Available in black and gray finish options, the 25900 fits both high-visibility live rigs and low-reflection studio environments. For AV integrators and production teams sourcing reliable short stands in quantity, the K&M 25900 offers the mechanical durability and repeatable adjustability expected from professional-grade mic hardware without unnecessary complexity.
