The K&M 26010 series is built for audio professionals who need a reliable, low-noise tripod microphone stand across studio recording sessions, broadcast environments, and live production stages. The two-piece folding rod design keeps setup and breakdown fast, while the clutch mechanism provides secure, repeatable height locking across the full adjustment range. These stands are specified by engineers and integrators who cannot afford stand-transmitted vibration coloring a take or a broadcast feed.
Construction centers on a round cast-iron or steel base fitted with an anti-vibration rubber insert that decouples the stand from floor-borne noise, including HVAC rumble, foot traffic, and stage vibration. The Soft-Touch powder coating is applied to reduce light reflection under stage and studio lighting rigs, making these stands a practical choice wherever camera angles or lighting directors require minimal glare from equipment. The 2-piece folding rod keeps the collapsed footprint compact for transport and storage in tight stage wings or equipment lockers.
The 26010 family is offered in multiple base diameters and threaded connector sizes to match existing microphone clip and adapter inventories, and in finish options suited to different visual environments. Where other stands in this class rely on plastic bases or single-piece rods, the K&M 26010 series prioritizes cast-iron or steel base construction and a refined finish for long-term durability in professional use.
