K&M 26716 Large Steel Base Plate With Three M20 Sockets

The K&M 26716.000.56 is a professional-grade steel base plate designed for integrators and production crews building column speaker systems on location or in permanent installs. At 550 x 550mm and 13.5 kg of solid steel construction, it provides a stable foundation for distance rods and rod combinations using standard M20 threaded bolts, eliminating wobble even under demanding live event conditions.

Three socket positions give installers genuine flexibility: the column can be mounted centrically, off-center, or in the corner of the plate, allowing the system to adapt to stage layout, sightline requirements, or architectural constraints without additional hardware. Two height-adjustable feet compensate for uneven floor surfaces up to 3.5mm continuously, which is a practical advantage on stages, concrete floors, and portable setups where shimming is impractical.

An ergonomic carrying handle and integrated cable management make repeated deployment faster and cleaner, reducing setup time on multi-show tours or rental inventory cycles. Compared to lightweight base alternatives, the structured black steel plate prioritizes long-term durability and vibration damping, making it a sound investment for rental companies, touring productions, and fixed installation contractors who need reliable performance across hundreds of deployments.
