The K&M 28308 is a steel connector panel designed for integrators and installation professionals who need a reliable, fixed-point solution for XLR terminations in rack enclosures, stage boxes, or wall plates. Built to accept 8 XLR jacks, it provides a clean and organized interface for multi-channel audio routing in permanent installations.
This panel fits directly into standard rack systems and is well suited for installed sound in houses of worship, corporate AV, theater, and broadcast facilities where repeatable, durable connectivity is a requirement. The steel construction resists warping and provides a secure mounting surface for XLR connectors, reducing connector movement and contact wear over time.
For integrators comparing blank or partially loaded panel options, the 28308 offers a cost-effective foundation that accommodates your choice of XLR hardware, giving you control over connector brand, locking mechanism, and wiring approach without committing to a pre-loaded assembly.
