The Kramer AW-6D is built for system integrators who need a single, self-contained loudspeaker solution that performs equally in outdoor courtyards, covered walkways, and interior spaces without compromising on audio quality or networked control. The built-in Class-D amplifier, DSP, and two-channel mixer eliminate the need for external processing, reducing rack space and simplifying commissioning on Dante-networked audio systems in corporate campuses, hospitality venues, transit facilities, and houses of worship.
Unlike passive all-weather speakers that require separate amplification and cabling runs, the AW-6D draws power directly over a standard PoE network connection, with auto-negotiation across PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ to maximize output headroom. Parametric EQ, high-pass and low-pass filters, input compression, output limiting, and thermal protection are all configurable through Kramer's Speaker Utility software, giving integrators precise tuning without on-site hardware changes. A built-in Find Me tone simplifies speaker identification across large deployments, and a published API supports Kramer Control as well as third-party control systems for volume, mute, and status monitoring.
V-0 flame-retardant materials on the baffle and back enclosure satisfy UL1480A indoor requirements, while IP66 weatherproofing handles direct water spray and heavy dust exposure outdoors. The toolless mounting bracket accommodates vertical or horizontal surface mounting, and the removable logo and choice of finish allow the enclosure to recede into architectural environments where aesthetics matter as much as performance.
