The Lectrosonics 21553 is a male 9-pin D-sub panel mount connector designed for use in professional audio installations and system integration work involving Lectrosonics equipment. It gives integrators and technicians a reliable termination point for D-sub wiring on rack panels, custom enclosures, and signal routing assemblies.
Panel mount D-sub connectors are a staple in broadcast, installed sound, and production infrastructure where signal routing between devices requires secure, repeatable mechanical connections. The 21553 suits any application where a male 9-pin D-sub interface must be brought to a panel surface, keeping wiring organized and accessible. For the corresponding female connector, Lectrosonics lists part number 21554 as a companion piece.
