Lectrosonics 35924 Hypoallergenic Thermal Insulation Pad for Talent

The Lectrosonics 35924 is a thermal insulation pad designed for use with SMD and SMQ series dual battery transmitters. It addresses a practical problem that production sound mixers and broadcast audio teams regularly face: body-worn transmitters can generate noticeable heat against a performer's skin, causing discomfort or distraction during extended takes and live performances. The pad installs on the back of the transmitter to create a thermal barrier between the unit and the talent.

This pad is particularly relevant in scripted television, film, and live broadcast environments where talent sensitivity to equipment contact must be managed without compromising wireless system performance. The hypoallergenic material also reduces the risk of skin irritation for performers with sensitive skin, making it a practical inclusion in any bag kit working with Lectrosonics SMD or SMQ transmitters. It is a low-cost, high-impact solution for maintaining talent relations and maintaining signal continuity across long production days.
