The Lectrosonics ALP650 Series is designed for RF engineers, wireless technicians, and production integrators who need reliable antenna coverage across long coaxial cable runs and complex multi-channel wireless deployments. The Log Periodic Dipole Array design delivers a useful directional pattern across a broad UHF bandwidth, unlike narrowband gain antennas that become impractical in frequency-agile or multi-channel wireless setups. With VSWR below 2:1 from 450 to 862 MHz, the ALP650 covers the full range of Lectrosonics wireless microphone and IFB system frequencies while maintaining the directionality needed to reach talent at distance.

Where the ALP650 separates itself from passive antenna options is its built-in receive-only amplifier with three-position jumper-selectable gain, allowing technicians to compensate precisely for cable loss and splitter insertion loss without overdriving the receiver chain. DC power is supplied through the coaxial cable itself via a connected BIAS-T, UMC16B multicoupler, or VENUE receiver, eliminating the need for a separate power run to the antenna position. The FR4 fiberglass circuit board construction is rugged enough for field production, and a protective cover over the BNC connector adds additional durability in outdoor and touring environments.

The mounting block accepts three common thread sizes and can be repositioned horizontally or vertically to optimize pattern orientation away from reflective surfaces. This flexibility makes the ALP650 Series equally at home on a theater fly rail, a broadcast camera position, a festival RF cart, or a fixed installation rack. Three UHF frequency range variants are available to match the specific band allocation of the deployment.
