The Lectrosonics CHSIFBR1B is a dedicated charging station for production environments running the IFBR1B IFB transmitter system. Designed for broadcast, live event, and large installed audio applications where numerous batteries cycle through regular use, it provides a structured and space-efficient method for keeping LB-50 lithium-ion batteries and IFBR1B transmitters charged and ready without relying on ad hoc solutions.

Each charging module handles up to four LB-50 batteries or IFBR1B transmitters simultaneously, with individual charging circuits ensuring each bay operates independently. For large installations, up to four modules can be daisy-chained using a single DCR5/9AU AC-DC power supply, scaling capacity to 16 batteries or transmitters charging at once. This approach reduces power supply clutter and simplifies rack or cart organization on complex productions.

Where generic multi-bay chargers offer no circuit-level protection, the CHSIFBR1B includes reverse polarity protection and an individual 10A one-time fuse on each module, reducing risk of damage during high-volume battery management workflows. Per-bay LED indicators provide immediate status at a glance: red for charging, green for fully charged. Note that the required DCR5/9AU power supply is sold separately.
