The Lectrosonics DBU-LEMO is a professional UHF digital bodypack transmitter designed for broadcast, theatrical, and live production environments where audio quality, RF reliability, and signal security are non-negotiable. The LEMO 00 Series 3-pin input connector makes it a natural choice for lavaliere microphones that terminate in LEMO connectors, eliminating adapters and reducing points of failure on the talent.
Pure digital architecture delivers 24-bit audio conversion with AES 256-CTR encryption, giving production teams working in high-security or government applications a transmitter that meets real security requirements rather than marketing claims. The transmitter tunes in coarse or fine steps across the UHF television band from 470.100 to 607.950 MHz, with selectable RF output at 10, 25, or 50 mW to suit the RF environment of any venue. Input gain adjusts over a 44 dB range in 1 dB steps, and a DSP-controlled dual-envelope limiter handles transients before they hit the modulator, preserving dynamic range under real performance conditions.
The housing is solid machined aluminum finished in electroless nickel, built to survive daily placement and removal on talent. A hinged, latching battery door prevents accidental opening even if the unit is dropped. A programmable top-panel switch gives the talent or A2 control over mute or power functions without accessing the menu. The included stainless spring wire belt clip attaches and detaches without tools. For productions already invested in LEMO-terminated microphone cables, the DBU-LEMO eliminates compromises that adapter-based solutions introduce.
