The Lectrosonics DCHT is a portable stereo digital transmitter built for professional film and television production workflows. It serves two primary roles: as a wireless audio link from a bag or cart system to cameras and recorders, and as a portable IFB transmitter paired with the Duet M2R digital receiver. Sound mixers and production audio professionals working on narrative film, ENG, and broadcast productions will find it purpose-built for the signal integrity and security demands those environments require.

The DCHT accepts two channels of mic or line level analog signals, or an AES digital signal from a mixer, and delivers audio to the receiver in a purely digital format. Input gain is adjustable over a wide range in 1 dB steps, allowing a precise match to any input source and maximizing dynamic range. A DSP-controlled limiter and high-quality preamp circuitry provide studio-grade stereo audio performance across analog and digital input paths. The programmable function switch can be configured as a mute, power, or bypassed control, giving the operator flexible on-the-fly control in fast-moving production environments.

The DCHT tunes across a broad UHF range in 25 kHz steps, offering thousands of usable frequencies for coordination in congested RF environments. Selectable RF output at 10, 25, or 50 mW provides range flexibility to match the application. AES 256-CTR encryption addresses content security requirements for high-value productions. The solid machined aluminum housing with electroless nickel finish delivers lasting durability on location, while two AA batteries power extended operating sessions without interruption.
