The Lectrosonics DM Series Digital Matrix Audio Processor is built for AV integrators and system designers deploying complex multi-microphone installations in boardrooms, courtrooms, worship centers, hotels, and distance learning facilities. Models are available with 8 or 16 mic/line inputs and output counts ranging from 4 to 24, and units can be stacked in master/slave configurations via the DANI bus to scale inputs for any system size without increasing throughput latency beyond 3 ms across an 8-unit stack.

At the core of every DM Series processor is a full DSP-based crosspoint matrix that routes any input to any or all outputs. Gain is adjustable at each crosspoint in 1 dB steps, and the patented AutoSkew proportional-gain automixing algorithm operates at the matrix output so each input channel can participate differently at every output. This architecture eliminates the abrupt gating found in switch-based automixers and adapts continuously to background noise changes, making it well suited for teleconferencing, mix-minus routing, and live sound reinforcement where multiple zones must be managed independently. Optimized Architecture ensures that no matter how many filters, delays, or processing functions are engaged, DSP resources are never exhausted and no resource meter is required.

Every input provides six DSP filter stages, automatic digital feedback elimination, a compressor, and digital delay. Every output provides nine DSP filter stages, a compressor/limiter, and digital delay. Eight filter types are available across inputs and outputs. The machined aluminum chassis with powder-coated finish and laser-engraved labeling is built for permanent installation, and the front-panel graphical LCD with rotary encoder allows on-site fine adjustment without a laptop. LecNet2 software, included with every unit, configures the system and saves the configuration to onboard memory so the processor runs standalone once deployed. AMX and Crestron compatibility plus simultaneous LecNet2 and third-party serial control give integrators the flexibility to drop these processors into virtually any control ecosystem.
