The Lectrosonics DMPA12 is designed for AV integrators and system designers building permanent multi-zone audio installations in boardrooms, courtrooms, worship centers, lecture halls, hotels, and distance learning facilities. By combining a 12-channel Class-D power amplifier with a full DSP engine into a single rack unit, it eliminates the need for a separate amplifier rack and dedicated DSP processor, reducing both footprint and signal chain complexity in installed systems.
The DMPA12 draws audio exclusively from the DANI bus shared across the DM Series ecosystem, making it a purpose-built amplifier for that platform rather than a general-purpose device. Each of the 12 output channels carries its own delay, nine parametric filters, compressor, and limiter, giving integrators granular per-zone control without external processing. Adjacent channels can be bridged to double output power, accommodating loudspeakers that demand more drive. Passive cooling means no fan noise and no scheduled maintenance, a critical advantage in presentation spaces and courtrooms where acoustic noise floors matter.
System control is handled through serial commands, rear-panel contact closures, or a software GUI with preset recall. Twenty-four onboard presets and a macro language with recorder and editor make it practical to manage complex multi-room configurations and respond quickly to changing room layouts. For integrators who regularly commission mix-minus conferencing or zoned paging systems on the DM Series platform, the DMPA12 delivers the processing depth and amplification capacity to close out a rack in a single device.
