The Lectrosonics DSQD series is built for production sound engineers, broadcast teams, and touring RF coordinators who need a high-density, half-rack wireless receiver without compromising audio integrity or system flexibility. Four independent channels fit into a half-rack footprint, making it practical for tight rack builds on tour, in broadcast vehicles, or in installed theatrical environments where space and channel count are both constraints.
At its core, the DSQD uses Lectrosonics signature digital architecture to deliver 24-bit, 48 kHz audio with ultra-low latency across all operating modes. The receiver covers 470.100 to 614.375 MHz with continuously tunable tracking filters in 25 kHz steps, giving coordinators the granular control needed in dense RF environments. Compatibility extends across stereo and mono digital transmitters as well as Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters, protecting investment in mixed transmitter inventories. AES 256-CTR encryption per FIPS 197 and FIPS 140-2 addresses the security requirements of broadcast, government, and corporate production applications. The family is available with Dante networked audio or AES3 digital output, letting engineers match the receiver to the infrastructure already in place.
Workflow tools are integrated throughout. A bidirectional IrDA port allows fast transmitter sync and encryption key transfer without menu diving. A full-color backlit LCD with membrane buttons provides clear parameter monitoring in any lighting condition. The built-in wideband antenna multicoupler with loop-thru output simplifies antenna distribution across multiple receivers, and front-panel antenna bias power with fuse and over-temperature protection reduces external component count. USB micro-B and Ethernet ports connect to Wireless Designer or third-party control software, enabling remote monitoring and rapid firmware updates across an entire system.
