- Designed Specifically For The HM172 Earset To Ensure A Precise Fit
- Beige Finish Blends Naturally For On-Camera And Stage Talent Applications
- Protects The Capsule From Wind, Moisture, And Debris During Active Use
The Lectrosonics FC172-BE is a replacement filter cap designed specifically for the HM172 earset microphone. Audio engineers and production technicians working in live theater, broadcast, and house-of-worship environments rely on filter caps to protect the microphone capsule from moisture, wind, and particulate contamination that can degrade performance over time. Having spare filter caps on hand is standard practice for any professional deployment where the HM172 is a primary talent mic.
The beige colorway is suited for fair to light skin tones, making it an appropriate choice for on-camera talent and performers where low-profile, natural-looking microphone placement is a priority. Note that the RK172-BE replacement part is sold separately and should be considered alongside this cap when planning a full service kit for the HM172 system.
