The Lectrosonics HM162MC is a lightweight, noise canceling headset microphone designed for live performance, public address, and presentation environments where the speaker works in close proximity to high-output loudspeaker systems. The bi-directional, dual-element capsule aggressively rejects off-axis room noise and feedback while keeping the user's voice present and intelligible, a critical advantage for worship, corporate AV, and theatrical applications where lavalier mics fall short on gain.

The over-ear headband positions the boom just to the left of the mouth and holds it there as the user moves, eliminating the repositioning issues common with single-ear designs. An adjustable elastic neckband secures the fit without interfering with hats or caps, making it a practical choice for coaches, presenters, and performers who need consistent capsule placement throughout a show. The rugged boom and assembly materials hold up to the handling demands of rental and touring inventory cycles.

Wired with a locking 2.5mm micro plug, the HM162MC connects directly to Lectrosonics VHF belt pack wireless transmitters.
