The Lectrosonics HM1725P is an omni-directional electret condenser earset microphone wired with a 5-pin plug for direct compatibility with Lectrosonics UHF belt pack transmitters, including the LM, LMa, UM400, UM400a, SM, SMa, SMV, SMDa, and SMQV. Its servo bias wiring is backward compatible with earlier 5-pin inputs, making it a reliable choice for productions running mixed transmitter generations without requiring rewiring or adapters.

Designed for presenters, theatrical performers, and broadcast talent who need hours of continuous wear, the HM1725P uses a flexible silicone frame that mounts securely over one or both ears. The low-profile boom keeps the capsule positioned away from the breath stream to minimize plosives and handling noise, while the perspiration drip ring protects the capsule in high-energy performance environments. The cable routes behind the neck for maximum concealment under costume or wardrobe.

The extended frequency response and omni-directional polar pattern deliver natural vocal reproduction with no proximity effect buildup, making this mic equally suited to speech reinforcement and singing. A replaceable HF peak cap gives engineers a passive tool to tame high-frequency energy when needed. Two foam windscreens and a cable clip are included, so the mic is ready for deployment without additional accessories.
