The Lectrosonics IFBT4 is a frequency-agile IFB base station transmitter built for broadcast, film, and live production environments where talent monitoring and director cue delivery are critical. Available across UHF and VHF frequency blocks to suit different spectrum plans and regional licensing requirements, the IFBT4 integrates into existing Lectrosonics wireless ecosystems and supports compatibility modes including IFB, Nu Hybrid, and Digital Hybrid Wireless, making it a practical choice for facilities that operate mixed-generation gear.

Designed for the demands of daily production use, the IFBT4 accepts a wide range of intercom input configurations including Line, Mic, RTS, and Clear-Comm via its rear-panel DIP switch, eliminating the need for external adapters in most intercom wiring scenarios. The built-in microphone preamp and multi-use XLR input make it adaptable to both simple playback feeds and full two-way production workflows. A backlit LCD displays modulation, frequency, mode, and audio level at a glance, while momentary pushbutton channel selection and TX mute allow frequency scrolling without dropping the feed.

Where many compact IFB transmitters sacrifice build quality for size, the IFBT4 uses rugged machined aluminum construction sized to mount in a production rack or fit a portable bag kit.
