The Lectrosonics Digital Dual Stereo Rack IEM/IFB Transmitter is built for touring engineers, theater sound designers, broadcast coordinators, and installed-sound integrators who need reliable, high-fidelity wireless in-ear monitoring in a space-efficient format. Packing two independent stereo transmissions into a single half-rack unit, it delivers four configurable audio inputs, digital RF modulation with 8 PSK, and a measured total harmonic distortion below 0.15 percent, giving monitor engineers the clarity and stereo imaging that analog compandor-based systems cannot match.

Four audio inputs accept balanced line-level signals via full-size locking XLR/TRS combo connectors, and each input can be individually assigned to analog or networked audio sources depending on the variant in use. A special balanced amplifier with very high common mode rejection keeps hum and noise out of the signal path before conversion to the internal digital format. Input gain is adjustable in 1 dB steps across a wide range, allowing precise optimization of modulation and limiting for maximum signal-to-noise ratio. The all-aluminum extruded front panel with powder coat finish and the all-metal chassis are sized to rack singly or in pairs using the included hardware, making them a practical choice for both fly dates and permanent installs.

Where comparable half-rack IEM transmitters rely on analog RF or single-channel architectures, this platform delivers two simultaneous stereo channels with sub-1.8 ms system latency from analog sources, AES 256-bit CTR mode encryption in DCHX compatible mode, and full integration with Lectrosonics Wireless Designer software for programming, monitoring, and firmware updates via front-panel Micro-B USB or IR sync port. Available in Dante-enabled and non-Dante configurations to match existing network audio infrastructure.
