The Lectrosonics SMKITTA5 is designed for audio engineers and wireless technicians who need to terminate microphone cables directly to SM Series UHF body-pack transmitters. The kit provides the hardware required to build a secure, low-noise mic connection in the field or shop, including a 5-pin TA5F plug, a weather-resistant sleeve, and multiple cable insulation pieces to accommodate different cable diameters.

The assembly method uses clamp fingers that crimp onto both the mic cable shield and the outer insulation.
