The LA-401 addresses the needs of AV integrators specifying assistive listening solutions for performance venues, conference spaces, and worship facilities where discreet personal audio delivery is required. Its open-backed driver architecture allows simultaneous monitoring of transmitted program content and natural room acoustics, critical for environments where situational awareness must be maintained alongside amplified signal.
The modular connection system accommodates multiple deployment scenarios: direct receiver connection for seated applications, integrated neck loop compatibility for mobile users, or concealed pocket placement using the supplied extension cable. Hard polymer shell construction withstands repeated handling and allows facility staff to perform sanitation between users with standard disinfecting wipes, meeting hygiene protocols for shared equipment in institutional settings.
This earpiece serves as a replacement component or upgrade path for existing Listen Technologies RF and IR assistive listening installations, providing consistent audio characteristics across mixed equipment inventories without requiring receiver-side modifications.
