Installed sound contractors and AV integrators often face antenna distribution challenges when deploying assistive listening systems across worship spaces, theaters, and conference centers. This passive RF combiner solves that problem by accepting two independent RF transmitter outputs and routing them through a single antenna, eliminating the need for duplicate antenna installations while maintaining signal integrity across 72 MHz, 216 MHz, and 863 MHz assistive listening bands.
The fanless, unpowered design makes it ideal for permanent architectural installations where AC access is limited or cable runs are expensive. BNC connectors provide secure, field-proven RF connections, while the compact aluminum housing mounts easily in equipment racks, behind lecterns, or within ceiling enclosures. Integrators also use it in reverse as a splitter when one antenna must feed multiple receiver zones, giving the device dual functionality in complex venue layouts.
Clearly labeled input and output ports reduce installation errors during multi-zone system commissioning. The 50-ohm impedance matching and controlled 3 dB insertion loss preserve transmitter range without requiring RF amplification stages, keeping system complexity and failure points low across worship, performing arts, and corporate environments where assistive listening compliance is mandatory.
