The Lowell ACS-1506 is a 20-inch steel power strip designed for systems integrators and AV installers who need reliable AC distribution in equipment racks without the cost or bulk of a full PDU. The six NEMA 5-15R receptacles are spaced to accommodate a range of power supply bricks, making it practical for mixed-device racks common in boardrooms, houses of worship, schools, and light production environments. Installers should verify spacing requirements against their specific equipment before deployment.
Protection is handled by common mode transient voltage surge suppression rated to UL 1449-3, with a maximum surge current of 6500A and a maximum surge voltage of 6000V. A front-facing LED indicator confirms suppression is active, and the onboard 15A circuit breaker provides overcurrent protection without requiring an external breaker panel. The attached 6-foot cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug keeps the install clean and avoids the failure point of a detachable IEC connection. Mounting hardware including a clip, screw, and cable ties is included for fast, secure rack integration.
