The Lowell ACS-2010-RPC-HW is a 30-inch hardwired power strip designed for installed AV systems, rack enclosures, and production environments where remote power control is required. Rated at 120VAC 60Hz 20A, it provides ten NEMA 5-20R receptacles split into two groups: two unswitched outlets that remain live at all times, and eight switched outlets controlled by an external trigger connected to the remote terminal. This makes it a practical choice for AV integrators building systems where equipment power sequencing or remote on/off control is necessary without manual access to the rack.
Unlike consumer power strips or basic PDUs, the ACS-2010-RPC-HW is built for permanent installation. The hardwired 6-foot non-metallic flexible conduit with pigtail leads eliminates cord clutter and meets installation standards for built-in rack systems. Universal mounting brackets allow flexible positioning within enclosures. The steel chassis with black finish suits standard rack and cabinet installations. A compatible remote switch or sequencer must be ordered separately to activate the remote control function, giving integrators the flexibility to pair it with their preferred control infrastructure.
