The Lowell ACSPR-1509-VTE is a 1U rackmount power distribution unit built for installed AV systems, production racks, and broadcast environments where reliable power conditioning is non-negotiable. Nine NEMA 5-15R outlets, split between one front-panel and eight rear positions, accommodate a full rack of gear without rear-cable congestion. A rocker switch gives operators direct control over five of the rear outlets while leaving the remaining circuits always on, a layout suited to systems where some devices must stay powered independently of the switched zone.
What separates this unit from basic strip-style PDUs is the Advanced Multi-Stage Surge Protection using TCR (Triple Clamping Redundant) technology, rated to handle surges up to 72,000A at full capacity. Paired with the VTE (Voltage Tolerance Envelope) monitor, the unit automatically cuts power if line voltage climbs above 140V or drops below 100V, then auto-resets when voltage returns to an acceptable range.
