The Lowell ACSPR-RPC1-1509 is a 1U rackmount power distribution unit designed for AV integrators and system installers who need reliable power protection and remote switching in permanent installations. With nine outlets split across front and rear panels, switched and unswitched zones, and a 15A rating on all receptacles, it covers the distribution needs of equipment racks in boardrooms, houses of worship, educational facilities, and broadcast infrastructure.
Triple Clamping Redundant surge protection handles spikes up to 72,000A, and LED status indicators notify technicians when the protection circuit needs attention. The Voltage Tolerance Envelope monitor adds a layer of defense not found on basic PDUs: it automatically disconnects outlets if line voltage climbs above 140V or drops below 100V, then restores power without manual intervention once voltage stabilizes. For integrators connecting to building automation, the rear terminal blocks accept external momentary switches, maintained triggers, DSP-timed events, or alarm systems, making the unit compatible with fire-code life safety requirements through its integral override function.
The steel chassis mounts in any standard 19-inch rack and is activated by a front rocker switch. The 9-foot attached cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug reaches floor power without an adapter. The TCR surge protection carries a 10-year warranty, making this PDU a serviceable long-term component in installed systems rather than a disposable accessory.
