The Lowell BDC4-1T is a 1U rack-mount blower panel designed for AV integrators and system installers who need active thermal management in enclosed equipment racks. Four blower fans pull heated air from inside the cabinet and exhaust it through front vents, preventing heat buildup that can degrade amplifiers, signal processors, and other rack-mounted gear during continuous operation.
The integrated thermo-probe eliminates the need for manual fan switching by automatically activating and deactivating the fans based on internal rack temperature. This makes the BDC4-1T well suited for installed systems in houses of worship, boardrooms, broadcast racks, and performance venues where racks are sealed or have limited natural airflow. The steel panel with black powder epoxy finish integrates cleanly into standard 19-inch racks and draws power from its UL Listed onboard supply, keeping installation straightforward without adding load to signal chain equipment.
