Lowell's blind mount steel speaker enclosures are engineered for installed audio applications where above-ceiling access is unavailable or impractical. Whether working in finished commercial spaces, educational facilities, houses of worship, or hospitality environments, integrators can complete the installation entirely from below a drywall or plaster ceiling, eliminating the need to open up finished surfaces or coordinate overhead access.
Each enclosure pairs a recessed steel housing with a plastic mounting ring and ships with a foam pad for basic acoustical treatment. The welded unitized heavy gauge U.S. steel construction and black powder epoxy finish deliver durability appropriate for permanent installations. Both screw-mount and torsion grille types are supported, giving specifiers flexibility when matching grilles to the project. Mounting hardware knockouts and clips are included to simplify rough-in and final trim-out.
Available in two depths to accommodate different cabinet volume requirements, these enclosures let system designers match enclosure volume to the speaker's acoustic needs without compromising the blind-mount installation method.
